I visited Vivo Upper Hutt in December 2025 with a new client package for a root touch-up on my highlights. I didn’t love the result. My hair was only flat ironed when I left, and I expected to walk out feeling fully styled. Once home, I noticed uneven color patches, as if the bleach had only been applied to the roots without properly blending through the strands. Leigh saved my hair and day! I came in upset as I had been to a different hairdressers and didn’t get the results I was expecting, Leigh took me under her wing, gave me exactly what I wanted and also lent her knowledge on ways to style my hair properly, such a wonderful experience as well as haircut, you are an angel thank you so much!!
Just wanted to rave about the awesome job Holly did with my Kerasilk treatment and cut and style. Totally in love with the look and the feel. Amazing service too!!! I'll definitely be back!
I liked my cut and it has a friendly welcoming atmosphere. I do wish it was more of a thing in NZ to be able to just relax instead of feeling like I have to keep up a convo I have to admit. No massage when hair was washed 🥺 Smaller and quieter than the behemoth that is Top Cut though so that's a plus for me. Quite pricey but that's the way things are these days.
Tania is an amazing stylist. she has coloured, cut and have treated ( kerasilk) my hair and I have zero compliant and only praise for her work. The chat is great too. Vivo upperhutt is definitely my go to
