I stopped by for a spontaneous walk-in to get the sides of my hair trimmed, since I’m traveling by bike and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The team was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating even though I didn’t have an appointment. Great service, great atmosphere, and genuinely kind staff. Thank you so much.
Go to Oamaru Vivo and see Jeralynn! She took my hair from an absolute disaster and turned it into a master piece. I have fine, blonde hair that was destroyed else where. Honestly I cannot thank Jeralynn enough. She is warm, friendly and a good laugh too. As is her colleague Fiona. Together they create a great atmosphere in there, which shows as all of Fionas clients left happy too. As did the managers (didn't get her name). But go see Jeralynn...she is with out doubt the best hairdresser in Oamaru/Otago🤍
The service felt rushed from the start ,my hair was washed extremely quickly, with no head massage or sense of care, which is usually a standard and much-valued part of the experience. During the appointment I was quiet (not rude, just not chatty), and the hairdresser stopped and said, “If you’re not happy I don’t have to do this — you don’t look happy.” I found this comment confronting and unprofessional. Very thankful with Melissa my hairstylist she well catered my request after my neck operation she gladly assisted me ..me and myson keeps going back there love the bangs ...
My stylist performed the wrong procedure, even though I had given her some pictures from the internet as references and I was convinced she understood and can make it. In the end I didn't get the result I wanted, it turned out that the stylist wasn't familiar with the technique at all. However, customer service team helped me get a full refund. Thank you to the salon manager who approved the transaction.
