Always pretty easy to get appointment. Bulk billing. Nice staff. You may sacrifice the "getting to build a relationship with just one doc" but you can get your issue seen to and try to see the same doctor which is doable most of the time. I have been half a dozen times and have no complaints. Usual thing, some occasions long wait and other times doc is right on time. X-ray, scan, pathology and chemist all in one spot.
I made a booking through Hot Doc, all my details in the hot doc profile were correct and I got the confirmation email. But the medical centre had a random booking for the same time with the same doctor, with my surname but a different birthday from 2019 and a different first name. Even though I showed Kayla (receptionist) my confirmed booking details she refused to take me for the appointment. So it’s great to book appointments online through the HotDoc app. But I recommend NOT confirming your check in to the waiting room through the app as it doesn’t seem to register your arrival and can result in hour long wait times. Always best to check in at the reception !
1h 51 minute wait to get to reception staff is pretty abysmal. I am not even a patient, but a health professional that was trying to contact a GP. But it's always a nightmare trying to call this practice, this is something that really needs to be worked on. As prior to this long waits were standard, but it's getting worse. Maybe have a faster email system for simple requests for other health professionals so that doesn't hold up your phone queue. But something needs to be done. 2 stars as doctors are good.
I walked in without an appointment and was able to see a doctor within about 15 minutes. I had to have an xray and also got in quickly. I was not happy with my doctor leaving his door opened while talking on speaker phone getting my results so I heard everything from the waiting room. All up I was reasonably happy with the experience.
