My child attended this centre, and while there were several educators who were genuinely wonderful, I think it’s important to share an honest account of our experience so that other families can make an informed decision. Have been at the centre since September last year, the educators are so lovely, supportive and empathetic with the children. My daughter is in the pre-kinder 1 room and she had no issues settling into the room at all, the educators made her feel welcomed and helped her transition in wonderfully. We are finishing up at TLS in Gisborne as the kids head to school next year. We have loved our 4 years here. Our kids have been so happy and we have seen how supported and cared for they are. They've made lovely friends and developed great relationships with lots of the carers and educators here. We love the outdoor space and the amount of time the kids get for freeplay outside. My son currently attends The Learning Sanctuary in Gisborne and I am so impressed by the service and the facility. The staff are all so amazing and honestly as soon as you see the yards you will be sold. It is such an amazing place for a child to play, explore and learn. I have worked in childcare in the past and never saw anything like what they offer here. It is like a home away from home and I am so comfortable knowing my son is safe and having so much fun with amazing people.
We have had children at the centre of 5 years now, at the moment we have 3 kids there. Our children are all very happy and comfortable in each of their rooms. The attention to their needs, care and genuine connection educators/carers have with our children is exceptional and we have never found it difficult leaving our kids there for the day.
