Even though no baking is done onsite, all the food comes in fresh every day around 5.30am. Everything is made up ready to be toasted and the pies, etc, are heated and ready to be served. However, it is still possible to put in a special request, and if it's not too onorous, the staff will do their best to serve it. I requested a cheese and egg croissant, and though scrambled eggs would have been nice, the fried egg worked OK as well. The staff are friendly and if it's not busy they are happy to have a chat.

I have stopped here twice recently while passing through from the riverland to Middleton and have only good things to say. I can not comment on the hot food as haven't tried it but I have had the wraps and they were fresh and delicious. The service is brilliant, although they always seem to be busy they also seem to have enough staff on and you get served quite quickly and kindly. I didn't expect so many vegan options, so I was really pleased to see lots & alternative milks! Got the vegan curry lentil pie & an oat lattè. Great food, lovely staff, fabulous coffee. Nice and warm during wet weather 🥰
