Southern Highlands Equine Centre was “founded” in 2011 through the joint efforts of ‘sister’ equine practices–Randwick Equine Centre (REC Equine Specialists) in the city (Dr Greg Nash and Dr James Whitfeld) and the Illawarra Equine Centre (IEC) on the south coast. The practice today employs two full time veterinarians Dr Ramon Perez and Dr Robin and one part time veterinarian Dr Maria Diaz Manzanares. Founding partner Dr James Whitfeld is available for appointments at request.

Maria is very friendly and compassionate yet very professional. She has a great manner with my horses and nothing I ask of her is a problem. Keep up the great service it is very refreshing!!!!
