I visited this store today 1/10/26 and I’m impressed with merchandise on display, and most of all the customers service I received from Sharon. Her attitude is unparalleled with any I received lately. Pleasant, polite, personal, and professional. Gift to the store
You can sometimes find useful and necessary items here. Prices are okay and there are often sales. However, the clothing quality is quite poor and usually only lasts for a few wears. Good for short-term use.
I recently visited Fawkner Salvos and had a wonderful experience thanks to Ronan, who runs their online store. He went above and beyond to help me find the perfect washing machine, taking the time to test it for me before I made my purchase. I really appreciate his dedication and kindness, and I highly recommend Fawkner Salvos to anyone looking for great service and quality products. Thank you, Ronan 😊
A bit pricey in comparison to other op shops, but they have a good variety of items!
Bugger! Another good salvos bites the dust. $750 for torn couches? $600 for a defective koala sofa return? Attendants standing going through peoples purchases saying things like “what do you want with a knee pad” whilst the customer has to defend themselves and say it’s for her daughter when skating. This retail side of salvos is greedy!
