Worst ever experienced. Went to inspect a $740/week townhouse this morning with my family. The agent was late by at least 10 minutes anyway. We entered the house, tenant was still there and said hi to each other, all ok so far. Wanted to see the courtyard, openned the door to garden and this agent shouts from the enterance saying “you cannot see the outside, look from windows and close the doors!”. They went above and beyond by helping me get in touch with the property owner and facilitated a smooth and respectful negotiation for the lease renewal. This is the worst real estate agency I’ve ever dealt with. I lived at the property for nearly 10 years, and throughout that time, none of my maintenance requests were addressed. The reception staff were unhelpful and often gave vague or no answers, and my emails were consistently ignored. I vacated the property two months ago, and when I requested my bond refund, I discovered that a portion of it was withheld without clear explanation. Congratulations you have found QLD worst realestate. Incredibly rude and utterly useless. If you are an owner, expect your house to crumble to the ground before anything is reported to you. They never show up for an inspection! And never pass on anything that is reported eg. A leak of a pipe into the structural timber of the house. If you are a tenant, be prepared to be harassed and billed by these money grabbing, incompetent pests. Realty scheduled an inspection for one of the properties they are renting out for last Friday. Myself and around 7 other groups were waiting outside for the inspection to start, however the agent from Realty never showed up. I emailed them to confirm the next inspection time but never received a response. After this I’ll never engage with Realty in the future as they are obviously an unreliable agency who are happy to waste peoples’ time.
