Had the best experience for my first time attending. I initially went to emergency at Werribee Mercy and after 2.5hrs waiting, I still wasn't seen by anyone. I left emergency after a friend suggested I go to WMUCC. I arrived and was triaged within 15mins, then was seen by the doctor 20mins later, where the doctor did not hesitate to perform an urgent procedure and; without the need for me to have to continue waiting. I had really bad experience at the Werribee Urgent Care Clinic. The clinic is advertised as being open until 10:00 PM, yet my father and I were denied medical attention before this closing time, which is both unacceptable and highly concerning. Last night, my father suffered a deep cut on his finger, and I immediately drove him to your clinic. We arrived at approximately 9:50 PM, only to find the door locked. On Tuesday evening, 26/11/2024 around 7:20 PM, I took my 7-year-old child to the werribee urgent care clinic as he had a cut on his forehead. We primarily needed a nurse to dress his injury. However, the receptionist informed us that they could not assist as the clinic was at capacity. At the time, there were only three patients waiting. We had such a positive experience at the urgent care in Werribee! The wait times were much shorter compared to the emergency department at Mercy – we waited approximately 45 minutes before being triaged and then taken in. The gentleman at the reception was absolutely lovely and so friendly, which made us feel welcome from the start. The nurse who attended to us was incredibly helpful and professional. We been here with emergency on my son on his sports injury after class ; we went emergency at Mercy first but was too long queue and was referred here by nurse. As we entered WM urgent care clinic we are impressed by the facility and good assistance by the team. Special mention to Nurse Sai as she was really helpful and friendly. Will definitely recommend WM urgent care clinic to the rest of friends.
