I found myself needing a medical centre on a Sunday. I was so surprised with Pitt Street Medical Centre in Merrylands. It was clean, the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. I was quoted around an hr for the wait time however my daughter saw a Dr much sooner than that. Parking was easy and with a pharmacy attached we purchased the medication and headed straight home. It was very convenient. We had a great experience, thank you to the staff that assisted us. 10/10
Well, here I am posting about my latest "experience" about this Medical Centre. I turned up there Today Sunday at 3.00pm for a practice that says it closes at 8.00pm. The centre did not have a lot of patients waiting as I looked around upon arrival. I told the receptionist which doctor I wanted to see, and she said he has stopped taking more people for the day. They have the worst service in this centre. I wouldn't recommend to anyone. Firstly, their receptionist doesn't know how to do their job. I had an appointment with the GP and after my appointment I went to the reception to pay my bill but she was so busy gossiping with her friend she didn't even realize that I was standing there for so long and when I asked her she checked my papers and send me off and when I asked her again if I need to do anything here she said no and before I ask anything she was already busy yapping with... read more
Came to this centre today for the first time with my daughter who was unwell without an appointment. The guy at the front desk was very helpful and went out of his way to call Dr Kalanzi in organising a walk in appointment for her. The dr saw her quickly and we were in and out all within an 30 minutes. Good thing about this centre is that there is a pathology and pharmacy on site, so no need to travel elsewhere for medications and tests.
I’d like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Dr Min at the Pitt Street Merrylands Medical & Dental Centre. He was incredibly helpful, attentive and thorough during my visit. He took the time to explain everything clearly, made sure all my concerns were addressed and followed up to ensure I received the care I needed.
