The staff at the reception who book the appointments are mostly dumb and insensitive at Pacific Medical Center. We had an 1:50pm appointment booked with the doctor in advance. We reached at 1:45pm, the receptionist checked our booking in her system and asked us to wait outside the doctor’s room. She forgot to activate our booking in the system and we kept waiting for our turn. When we checked with the doctor, we learnt from her that we were not in her queue in her system. Very recent and unpleasant experiences relating my request to see a female doctor due to my full time working hours and preferred early hour visit to the medical centre. On a number of occasions, I was advised to come early, then come before 7 am, then book an earliest appointment etc. On the day I came earlier, I had to leave as I was told there were people who had booked appointments needed to been seen even though I attended earlier, so I was advised to book an earliest anointment at 7:30, but when i attended the apoiuntm... read more
Hi all, it’s a feedback for medical centre itself. The appointment was scheduled for 3pm and then got a call that it’s been rescheduled to 4pm without our consent. Further, at 4pm was told to wait. The doctor did not attend till 5:15. We went to reception and asked them, how long would it take and she said to go and keep waiting and didn’t let us know how long would it take. I made a walk in appointment on a Saturday and was told there would be a 3 patient wait (3 patients before me). I then proceeded to wait 2 hours and I’d noticed that the people that had arrived after me were being called in. I then spoke to the receptionist and they said it would be another person before me, but at this point I had watched at least 7 or 8 people be called in.
