I had an extremely disappointing experience with doctor Jalal Qamar. I had a very frustrating experience. I waited for more than two hours for my appointment, and I was never even called in or properly informed about the delay. There was no communication, apology, or update from the doctor or staff. Very disappointing experience today. Patients were already standing outside before the scheduled opening time of 8:00 am, yet the medical centre did not open until 8:15 am. Since it was a Sunday and appointments cannot be booked, patients rely entirely on walk-ins. We queued at reception hoping things would move once the centre opened. In-person checkups work much better. Telehealth, in my experience, has been very disappointing. I had an early telehealth appointment, and the GP called me around 8 pm. He greeted me and asked how I was. I told him I had done an ultrasound five days earlier and took a tele-health appointment to know the update on the results and my upcoming checkup as I was unable to meet GP because I couldn't get permission out of work.. I’ve been coming to this medical centre for a long time, and unfortunately my experience has consistently been disappointing. In the past, I’ve had to wait hours for appointments, and even after the wait, the doctors are often not welcoming or approachable. Consultations feel rushed, and instead of proper discussion, the doctor simply prints out a generic sheet listing symptoms, causes, and medications, hands it over along with a prescription, and that’s it. I want to sincerely commend the nurse Kathryn who cared for me during my wound dressing. She did an exceptional job and was incredibly thorough, taking the time to carefully clean, debride, and dress my chronically painful leg wound. Her attention to detail and commitment to doing everything properly made a real difference in my care. Beyond her clinical skill, her bedside manner was truly outstanding.
