Had to get a prescription while travelling. It was a Saturday so I was happy to get an appointment. Saw a lovely doctor after not much of a wait. There was a fee to pay which surprised me as a pensioner but was well worth it. On site pharmacy was handy and very quick as well. I do recommend.
Reception staff were efficient, polite and assisted me. Medical professionals, including doctor and nurse, were friendly, listened to my symptoms and responded in ways that indicated they genuinely cared. They also devised solutions that were the least costly but, most important, effective remedies.
Second time I have been here, my first visit was satisfactory, even though my appointment was at 8.30am, the doctor called me in at 9.10am. At the second visit doctor was late by half an hour- how can they run late first thing in the morning? The doctor was not interested in my concerns, or anything regarding the follow up, pretty much given me a script and pushed me out the door. I was in and out in 6 minutes, yet I was still charged the normal amount for the consult. Won't be back!
The receptionist was nice. So, I was charged an amount in the beginning and after my consult was charged an extra amount because the doc asked them to do so as the consult went a bit longer. We didn't have Medicare and it felt like a rip-off. The doc must inform us if the consult is going a bit longer. This is misleading. He wasn't even helpful, didn't bother to give a prescription and we had to ask for it. Not coming back here.
I have been here multiple times as it is my nearest GP, however almost every time without fail I have had to wait a ridiculous amount of time to be seen. They allow appointments to be booked and seen within 10 minutes and leave walk-ins until the doctors “have time.” Medicare is supposed to cover a 20 minute appointment with a doctor, however they choose to charge a $35 gap on a 10 minute appointment.
