I have attended MTP Health for almost 4 years. I started doing strength training when I retired to address issues with my lower back, bone density and weight management. All have been addressed. I now do significant multiday hikes with a pack; relative to my age group my bone density is better that it was 25years ago and combined with improving my ongoing eating plan, especially protein versus carb’s, I have dropped 4 dress sizes. My partner and I discovered MTP when they were just a small company of exercise physiologists helping people with knee pain. Luke Kane’s course was a miracle and cured both of our issues, allowing us pain-free walking again! Today we are starting our third stint of 16 weeks training, now in MTP’s lush facilities near Royal North Shore Hospital. I began the 6 week Momentum program to help reduce the onset of osteoporosis. I enjoyed the 6 week personalised program so much I signed up to the group session program which is still very personal. Just a little more sharing of your exercise physiologist. Sarah is a terrific exercise physiologist and makes sure I do the exercises correctly.
I have been a client of MTP health for over 7 years, commencing with their Hip and Knee program. I continue going because of the expertise of the exercise physiologists. I train mainly with Lachlan. He knows me and how I respond to exercises and designs great personalised programs that target my specific needs. And he mixes it up so that I never get bored with my program. I also enjoy attending at St Leonards. The space is well equipped, spacious and filled with light. .
