I went to see the nurse for my care plan And he was absolutely lovely and professional. Very caring and saw to my every need. The Medical center is lovely and clean. Receptionist are very welcoming.
The reception is appalling, with exception for the Fijian lady. She consistently demonstrates exceptional customer service skills but, I haven’t seen her at the front desk as much. The two younger islander girls are very rude, I’ve never experienced such dismissive, unhelpful reception staff. They cut you off before you’ve finished what you have said, hang up without saying good bye and talk to you like a robot. I had a frustrating experience at this clinic due to long wait times and unclear policies regarding walk-ins. Online, it clearly states that Dr. Darabi accepts walk-in patients, yet when I arrived, the receptionist insisted that he only sees his regular patients without an appointment. If my regular GP has left the clinic and I specifically chose Dr. Darabi, I don’t see why I shouldn’t be able to see him. Reception since MARCH 2024 has declined, They are rude to anyone who is not islander, look foreign or extremely elderly with a visible disability and the centre apparently does not do appointments anymore in 2025 and yet certain people come into the centre after others wait for hours and are seen right away. The centre was great when Dr. Hamilton was still there but since then wait times are over 2 hrs, staff treat you based off of their personal preference no matter if you are being polite or not. Disgraceful reception.
Dr Farah Irfan is a female doctor. She was very attentive, explain thoroughly the answers to my questions. She took her time and did not rush my consultation with her, her calm and kind approach was very professional, although she has a line up of patients waiting. A pleasant experience and definitely not a drive thru doctor. Dr Ahmed Taher is another great doctor in the centre that our family trusted for more than a decade already.
