Reception since MARCH 2024 has declined, They are rude to anyone who is not islander, look foreign or extremely elderly with a visible disability and the centre apparently does not do appointments anymore in 2025 and yet certain people come into the centre after others wait for hours and are seen right away. The centre was great when Dr. Hamilton was still there but since then wait times are over 2 hrs, staff treat you based off of their personal preference no matter if you are being polite or not. Disgraceful reception.
AMAZING MEDICAL CENTRE !! They are so nice & helpful! Doctors are super helpful and kind! If you ever come across a tall islander girl, Lavinia.. she is fab!! If you’re lucky, she’ll sing to you while your waiting for your doctor 😍
Been coming to this practice for a 20 years and I can honestly say that accessibility to a doctor is near impossible nowadays.Just 1 instance, Arrived at front desk at 5.15 yesterday and was told all walk-ins ended at 4 and that 1 doctor on duty is finished for the day.No patients were in sight except the cleaner. My GP DR. Islam no longer takes appointments. Ridiculous for medical centre to not take appointments and only walk ins, I work full time and prefer not to waste my sick leave on having to schedule hours out of my work day to sit and wait at the medical centre. I am needing a mental health care plan and the other GOP told me to wait to see my regular DR. Islam. I am struggling and the place i am meant to go to for help does not care or want to provide care it seems.
This medical centre has of the best receptionist. They are kind and friendly. They know how to control bad situations especially in an area with high irrational people.
