We only come for one amazing dr. Unfortunately the wait can be extremely long. Usually 1-3 hrs. Longest wait was 6 hrs. As company makes dr see first availables (walk-in, which keep coming) and then his patients. Line up can be metres long. Treatment room, dentist, physio all at centre. No chemist. Wheelchair accessible lift. They need a script pickup, so people just wanting renewed scripts don't have to wait hrs.
I've been coming to this medical centre for years. I've found a lovely doctor (Dr Shea) who takes the time to listen to me and my questions without judgement. The times I've had to use the treatment room or give a blood sample, the nurses/techs have been wonderful. The current reception staff are great and a vast improvement on some previous receptionists. You can be left waiting past your appointment time but it's to be expected.
Ridiculous is the best word to use. My daughter had an in person appointment booked for 2pm yesterday. Upon arrival 15 mins prior to appointment, my partner was informed there would be a 45 min delay as there were still 6 people in front waiting to be seen. My 3 year old daughter was suffering from UTI and my partner said he was unsure if she would be able to hold herself, so reception said he could go home and ring in 30 mins. I have seen Dr Eben for 3-4 visits now and am most impressed! I would have to say he is the best doctor I have seen in years. It takes a very long time to find a good doctor, but Dr Eben is excellent and I have a feeling he will now be my Doctor for years to come. He not only has exceptional medical skills, but excellent interpersonal skills also. Which is very important in a Doctor. I am very grateful to have found him. Thanks Doctor Eben!
The only reason it's not a one is because of the reception staff. I went in a couple of months ago to get a superscription done and up until then everywhere I went, there in the past as including my own GP, gave me 6 months of repeats. I ended up with a doctor that refused to give me anymore than one for the next monthunkess I had a test I said I would not take because I felt like I was being blackmailed.
