One of the best cellars of the region. All the wines that we tried ended up being on top of our ranking during our trip to McLaren Vale. We were attended by Sky and she was incredibly lovely. She knew everything. We went for a simple tasting and we ended up having a full experience and an awesome conversation with her. 10/10 this place. The view is also beautiful.
I ordered the Mettiti comodo off the menu to share, the service was good along with the timing of the dishes. But majority of what they brought out was honestly average, and the ragu pasta really stood out for the lack of flavour. I have eaten here multiple times before and it has been good, so Maybe this was a once off.
Had Xmas party here. We visited couple of wineries and this was our last stop for late lunch. A beautiful place, very relaxing. Food was delicious, staff is very friendly. As it was the holiday season, the restaurant was quite busy with different function. But our food came quickly and well organized.
Enjoyed a superb lunch at Mitolo today where everything exceeded our expections. A stunning architectural building of sea containers and glass, overlooking the vines is home to the cellar door and two dining options. We chose Little Wolf Osteria and wow - what an experience! Fabulous customer service, friendly and knowledgeable, along with delectable bites. A great afternoon at Frankie’s Mitolo. It felt rushed having entree and main at the same time and some thinking needs to go into how to fit everything on the table- maybe some pizza risers? Entree and pizzas were great, pasta was a miss- spirals and bolognese is never great.
