Advertises “walk-in” services, but this was not our experience at all. My 16-year-old was left waiting in pain for over four hours in the waiting room. Repeatedly told he was “first on the list,” yet appointment bookings kept being prioritised ahead of walk-ins. This is not a true walk-in service — if walk-ins are accepted, there should be dedicated slots. Had this been communicated honestly upfront, we would have gone elsewhere. We have been seen faster in a hospital emergency department.
I have had several appointments at this clinic and unfortunately my experience has been quite poor. The reception service is very slow; sometimes there is no one at the desk, and other times the waiting time is long because there doesn’t seem to be enough staff. As I do not have Medicare, I cannot afford to spend money on unnecessary appointments. When I booked an appointment for an iron infusion, I asked the receptionist for the price. I have been attending Blunder Rd. Medical and Dental for over 10 yrs now, and the service is exemplary always... I appreciate the personal effort of all the physicians there, whether they are your GP or not. A great all in one medical practice which really cares for its patient. 👍👍👍
The G.P.'s I've seen are good. Unfortunately the Reception/phone services are not. Patients are required to stand in long queues in front of Reception to confirm their arrival. Zero care factor for the unwell or the elderly. The upstairs reception desk is unmanned, even though it is needed. Just tried to ring Reception to make an appointment. Was put on hold, waited 15 minutes (recording said wait time was 11 minutes.) Decided to request a call back. Was called back sometime later. Recording said I was number 1 in the queue ... read more
The wait wasn't too long. A sign was put up to let us know how busy they are for a waiting time. The doctor was very friendly and really listened to my concerns. I was very happy with the appointment.
