We are a boutique 100% family-owned and operated Orchard, Vineyard, Winery, and Cellar Door in McLaren Vale, where we grow a variety of produce including Cherries, table Grapes, Avocados, Citrus Apples, and Pears for cider, along with a variety of wines from alternate varieties and established 75-year-old vines (among the oldest in the region). We had a beautiful lunch of wine and Pizza, it was the perfect setting for lunch especially with my niece visiting from Melbourne. We sat in the new area and it was full of charm as was the lovely waitress who showed us where our seats were. Highly recommend a visit here and to experience everything McCarthy's Orchard has to offer :)

Despite visiting McCarthy’s Orchard Cellar Door during a very busy time, we were so well looked after. Our reservation allowed us reserved seats, although this wasn’t guaranteed. The food, wine and cider options were devoured with relish and the ice creams were so delicious. I would recommend you booking a tasting. We’ll look forward to coming back one day soon!

Lovely venue for 60+ celebrating an adult birthday on a weekend afternoon: rustic charm, and cosiness at the bar & in the function room. Relaxing orchard and grassed area outside for adults & kids. Very accommodating staff and great food by caterer Bella.

Always love going to McCarthy’s Orchard. I love its rustic vibe….Cosy fireplace settings or on the deck or lawn in the sunshine. Whether it’s for an intimate wine or large family gathering, this place will keep you coming back. And of course there is the delicious wines, ciders ,pizza, coffee, cake and friendly service.

Great spot. Delicious wood fired pizza and lovely, well priced wine. My personal favourite is the Monkeys Bum Shiraz with the pear and blue cheese pizza. If the weather is nice there are plenty of chairs and tables near the orchard. If chilly I'd recommend booking a table inside. Lovely friendly service. I've visited at least 5 times and enjoyed every time. Note pizza I think is only weekends.
