We are a boutique 100% family-owned and operated Orchard, Vineyard, Winery, and Cellar Door in McLaren Vale, where we grow a variety of produce including Cherries, table Grapes, Avocados, Citrus Apples, and Pears for cider, along with a variety of wines from alternate varieties and established 75-year-old vines (among the oldest in the region). Always love going to McCarthy’s Orchard. I love its rustic vibe….Cosy fireplace settings or on the deck or lawn in the sunshine. Whether it’s for an intimate wine or large family gathering, this place will keep you coming back. And of course there is the delicious wines, ciders ,pizza, coffee, cake and friendly service.

Great spot. Delicious wood fired pizza and lovely, well priced wine. My personal favourite is the Monkeys Bum Shiraz with the pear and blue cheese pizza. If the weather is nice there are plenty of chairs and tables near the orchard. If chilly I'd recommend booking a table inside. Lovely friendly service. I've visited at least 5 times and enjoyed every time. Note pizza I think is only weekends.
