Called them about a gas leak, they came around and spent 3 hours unable to find a source for the leak. Recommended redoing gas pipes from mains as the resolution and estimated 3.5-4.5k for the job. I asked if I could have a proper itemised quote and got told it would cost a lot more (absolutely bizzare). Anyway after confirming costs would not jump above estimate unless there were further issues after gas piping redone (which there wasn't) and ended up getting sent a $6.2k invoice. Mark is experienced, professional and easy to deal with. I mange a Girls College and have enaged MBM services for over 2 years and Mark has always been proffesional, he never gives up on finding a soloution and is well repescted here.
The plumber's service attitude is poor; the quotation is high; and they are very cunning. The prices of accessories are higher than the market retail prices. I advise everyone not to use this company
Came and did what was required to our house which was fine (a bit chatty which I think we got charged for) but was a nice guy overall. Did a good job. All good paid the invoice, waited for a valve replacement on a stove top. Forgot to order the valve or at least didn’t have any contact with us for two weeks. I contacted them. From the first visit from Mark to the completed water pipe repair our experience with MBM Plumbing was excellent. The very professional manner the inspection & quote process was handled right through to the completed job meant it was a stress-free time. Everything was explained with options for different scenarios and nothing was pushed on us. The work was completed in a very timely manner and the end cost came in way under the top quote given.
