Really lovely and professional staff. Triage nurse was so helpful and a star who helped me. I was lucky that the nurse was able to help me as the queue for the doctors seemed much longer. I made the right decision going to Maroubra urgent care over an ER department at a hospital when I cut my finger really badly, and really wasn't sure what to do. I have been twice in the past couple years. The front desk and nursing staff are really nice. The doctor I saw (both times) is pleasant enough, but I wouldn’t go back while he is on duty. The first time I went i had cut open a toe. He stitched it up, and it didn’t hurt much. A doctor who later saw it said the suturing was (just) competent. But I got a post surgical infection and had to go on some heavy antibiotics. I had scrupulously followed instructions. Bad technique or bad luck? The urgent care was to busy and we were told chances are that doctor will not attend to us. We are thankful for not wasting our time. The nurse was very nice and thorough. I hope never again.
Really impressed. I had no idea this place existed as I haven’t lived in the area long. I went to go about a burn being possibly infected and quickly realised that it wasn’t quite a medical centre. But they were lovely and looked at the wound and dressed it properly for me as it just needed proper covering. Lovely staff and great to know that there’s options in the area rather than going to the ER if I ever needed it.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ to the nurses and front desk team — they deserve 10 stars, no question. Warm, welcoming, professional they are the heart and soul of this clinic and it shows. Every single glowing review you read about them is well deserved. But I have to be honest about the rest of my experience today.
