I slipped and fell on my back and was recommended to visit the Urgent Care Clinic. All the staff there were so kind, caring and ultra professional. They also made me feel looked after and cared for. I was so impressed! Thank you Maroubra Medicare Urgent Care Clinic staff for all you do for us! And thank you Australia for having this top rate service. Makes me feel so proud to be an Australian.
I’m a tourist and so thankful there’s a free clinic. I came in with a fever swollen tonsils and white spots on my throat. The ladies at the front desk were very kind and pleasant and helped me immediately. I arrived an hour before they open due to an issue with Google saying they opened earlier than they did. Google said 7, but I believe it’s 8 on the weekends. Either way they assisted me immediately and got me checked in. It is a free clinic so of course there’s a wait time. My experience this morning was excellent. As a UK citizen with Medicare, this was a free service for me, which I was really impressed by (this even included my prescription). I was seen quickly, I wasn’t rushed and felt very supported by Dr Abigail Fox, who was brilliant. I’d recommend this service to anyone who needs urgent medical care.
The team at the clinic are super polite, approachable and professional. I get nervous when it comes to medical stuff but the team here made me feel super at ease. Went for a abscess drainage and was well taken care. You might have to wait a slightly long but that is understandable as this is urgent care.
The nurse was amazing! My father was discharged from hospital, but they had forgotten to remove the cannula from his arm. We had to go to Maroubra to have it removed, and the service there was excellent. Everyone was very caring and kind towards my dad. I’ll definitely be going back if needed.
