Dr. Symeou and Dr. Wassif are exemplary GPs who have carried this medical centre for far too long. I've had the privilege of being treated by both at various stages for more than a decade. I thank them very much for assisting me. Other GPs have come and gone over the years in rapid turnover rates. Some actually listen to you and treat you like a human being, while others are usually a combination of the following: narcissistic; short; dismissive; inhumane; incompetent. Maroubra medical and dental clinic kept changing and adding appointments. On the 9/1/2026 it was showing on the HotDoc app that I had 3 appointments for a care plan with the nurse. One for 10 am another for 10.40 am and one at 11am. All appointments were for the 12 January. Another time, someone from the clinic kept changing my appointments and I turned up on the 29 December as it was showing on the app and I wasn’t on the list to see the doctor on that day. I am very disappointed with the doctor and the overall service. I visited the clinic for assistance with an NDSS form, but Dr Mrityunjoy told me to bring a printed form to the next appointment, even though the form could easily be completed through the online portal or filled out at the clinic in just a couple of minutes. Despite providing no service, I was still charged $80.

Tele Health appointment with Dr Symeou was great, Dr called ahead of time. Dr Symeou is probably one of the best GP's around, my family has seen him for 34 years, you're are never rushed or have a feeling of confusion or overwhelmed with info. Dr Symeou will always take his time looking after his patients.

Disgraceful customer service and internal communication. My credit card on iPhone wouldn't work and they wanted a physical credit card (which I didn't have on me), so I was told by reception staff to come back after my appointment with the GP to sort out the payment. I sat waiting for 1 hour 40 minutes for Dr Ifat Anjum (who didn't see any patients during this time), but she didn't call my name.
