After Covid the best thing that this centre did was to begin charging patients for consultations. The effect was very simple, every man and his dog who just wanted to see a DR for something not that bad etc disappeared and now booking your appointments and still having to wait a little while is acceptable. I have been seeing DR Symeou for many years due to a serious health issue and now I have to see him every month. even with waiting time [which I would expect anyway when attending a medical centre at short notice], I am so impressed with this service at every level. Incredibly helpful and respectful reception staff, lovely doctor, then lovely nurse- both also respectful. The general atmosphere of the whole place was calm and ordered, even on a friday afternoon. I recently saw Peter Daley and was very impressed, so impressed that I later took my 15 year son to him. Peter is super professional and made both of us feel comfortable right away. He really listened to what we had to say, which I appreciated. His thorough approach and knowledge of physiotherapy were clear, and my son felt at ease during the sessions. Peter fantastic with my him, making him feel comfortable and confident enough to speak very freely. I highly recommend Peter.
I’m not sure about the other doctors at this clinic, but I saw Dr Azedah Khatibi today and wouldn’t recommend her based on my experience. The appointment felt uncomfortable from the beginning. While I explained my concerns, she slightly smiled but didn’t really acknowledge what I was saying or show much empathy, which made me feel uneasy. She had already examined my ear, told me it was infected, and confirmed that I would need antibiotics before we moved into another room for treatment. Dr. Symeou and Dr. Wassif are exemplary GPs who have carried this medical centre for far too long. I've had the privilege of being treated by both at various stages for more than a decade. I thank them very much for assisting me. Other GPs have come and gone over the years in rapid turnover rates. Some actually listen to you and treat you like a human being, while others are usually a combination of the following: narcissistic; short; dismissive; inhumane; incompetent.
