I showed up this morning because I could not sleep all night due to vomiting and dificulty in breathing. I was seen by a nurse called Amy Lewis and she denied me urgent care even though those two conditions I have are under the criteria accepted by non life-threatening urgent care according to their website https://www.urgentcarenetworkaustralia.com.au/location/maroubra-medicare-urgent-care-clinic/ I left crying having health care neglected after having the most healt scare night of my life.
Do Not Use this practice. Booked an appointment had to do Telehealth as I had flu like symptoms. The doctor was 2.5hrs LATE for the call. Prescribed me antibiotics etc and NEVER SENT THE SCRIPT!!! After an awful night of fever and illness called my pharmacy to request the script and she still hasn’t sent it. Called the practice back to see what’s going on and she is off today. Excellent service today from everyone at the urgent care. We went for my 3 y/o daughter and had great experience from the staff at the reception, the nurse doing the triage and the general practitioner.thank you
Very poor service at reception, a long wait despite a booking, a doctor who wanted me to come back for results that were going to a specialist anyway and a fee of $105 for a standard consultation. I can’t say anything good about this practice. They either need to bulk bill or lift their game. I won’t return!
The worst. Had an appointment here as I was sent over by the urgent care clinic. Was in with the doctor (Dr Paul) for 2 minutes which cost me $40 out of pocket. He has a terrible bedside manner and just seemed angry and annoyed the whole time. His English is so bad I couldn't understand what he was saying. He sent me for an xray then never followed up with me with the results. I tried calling the clinic and was 16th in line. Booked a call back and even with that was still 4th in the queue. Awful place.
