A fabulous one stop medical centre with an amazing team to meet all your medical needs. I’ve been attending Leichhardt Medical and Dental Centre for nine years now utilising services such as GPs, pathology, imaging, nursing services, minor surgery and skin checks. If these wonderfully skilled professionals can’t help you immediately they’ll refer you to someone who can. Despite wait times often being quite long, the reception team and doctors are thorough, reliable and knowledgeable. It’s really nice to see a marked improvement of phone wait times too! I’ve remained a patient here for close to a decade now and can’t speak highly enough of Dr Jessica Murphy! She’s amazing!
Very very good experience on a Saturday morning. Lovely receptionist Maria arranged for us to see a doctor - it was a 20 minute wait. Dr Islam was kind, reassuring and helpful. A smooth and good experience.
I strongly advise against seeking treatment at this facility. They have a troubling practice of exorbitant pricing; they quote you a fee upfront, but if your visit takes even a couple of minutes longer than expected, they tack on additional charges without any valid justification. The reception staff is also far from helpful—when you ask questions, they dismiss you and suggest you "Google it," which comes across as extremely impolite and unprofessional. Overall, I cannot recommend this place based on my experience.
My mother and my 1 year old daughter had a terrible experience with Dr Kavita today. My mother was looking after my 1 year old daughter and had an appointment with Dr Kavita to get some scripts and a referral. My mum and 1 year old daughter had to wait 2 hours as Dr Kavita was “late” again. As the medical centre is public, where doctors see patients as young as babies to elderly patients, my mum was sitting down on the seats close to Dr Kavita’s room with my baby.
