Relaxing & Refreshing Atmosphere: The spa has a really relaxing vibe. It smells nice as soon as you walk in, and the background music makes it easy to just sit back and unwind. Service: I asked for a relaxing massage because my shoulders were feeling stiff, and the masseuse did a great job. She focused on the areas that needed it most and really helped ease the tension. I used to love going to Jun Lin in Glenorchy however my last 3 trips I've not rated them at all. Last week I went thinking maybe I just went on a bad day. No, it wasn't the case. Previously the masseuses were outstanding. 1, I'm not a fan of claiming back on private health with a receipt that says I had a remedial massage in the Hobart Spa when in fact it was in Glenorchy. I have been supporting this location for a massage for over 10 years as a local resident. It has changed hands a few times with ownership in this period of course. Today I visited for a 1 hour remedial massage. My masseuse was excellent and very friendly. The room in which my massage was done was far from relaxing very noisy and all you could hear was lots of running water like a toilet being constantly flushed or a shower running. As a remedial massage therapist of 20 years myself I am pretty hard on the therapists that give me a massage and this is the best (massage) I’ve ever had. And could tell immediately that my therapist had far more experience in different techniques and therapies, it was evident immediately. There was an excellent balance between relaxation and work on problem areas …I felt much better for the soreness and stiffness I had on going in,but relaxed and refreshed as well.
