Been to a few different dentists in Hobart and this is hands down the best one I have visited. The receptionists were very welcoming, helpful and all round lovely. I had dr Vismita for my appointment, was very nervous being I have had bad experiences but Vismita and her assistant made me feel very comfortable, Dr Vismita was very gentle with me, taking her time to explain everything making sure I understood. Could not recommend enough! 10/10

I'd like to give a HUGE SHOUT-OUT to the Island Dental Team at North Hobart, especially Dr Claudia and her trusty assistant!! Being new to the area, I was hesitant about selecting a new dentist...however I needn't have worried because I've found the whole team so welcoming and kind - from the friendly, warm, and helpful Admin gals to the wonderfully capable and kind Ms Jasmine and Dr Girish who obviously select their staff very well! Honestly had such a good experience at Island Dental in Hobart! The staff are all so lovely and actually take the time to listen to you, which I feel like is kinda rare now. The reception girls were so sweet and welcoming, they made me feel comfortable straight away. You can tell they actually care, not just rushing you in and out. Cannot rate Island Dental highly enough I saw Dr Claudia Lim she could not have been nicer and more professional, she was so gentle and caring and understanding. I don’t like going to the dentist and I am on holidays and the lovely girls at the front desk got me in no dramas. I would love this to be my regular dentist Dr Lim is amazing and so so kind. She kept checking I was ok the whole time and did an amazing job. 10/10.

Dr Claudia was amazing. She reassured me and ensured I was feeling okay! If you struggle with dental anxiety, she will do an amazing job at helping you feel comfortable. Both receptionists were also very friendly! Bec helped me sort through my payment and did not make me feel rushed at all. She was pleasant and made me feel very welcomed. Great team all around! I’ll be here every 6 months!
