A centre more concerned about their reputation than your kids. You don't realise how stressed your kids are until they've been given a better environment. My daughter went from being anxious at drop offs at Happy Hearts, to ditching me to go play at her new centre. From ecstatic to leave, to begrudgingly saying goodbye to her friends at pickup. I’ve been hesitant to leave a review, but I feel it’s important to share my experience. I’m really disappointed with my time at this centre. One of the most concerning incidents was a staff member telling me that my Baby (now toddler) was “the worst child she has ever dealt with,” Which I found completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Babies need patience, care, and the chance to build trusting bonds with their educators. I was always so keen to recommend Happy Hearts Reid Street, and was so proud to be part of the community but the culture has changed. They have just lost the most incredible Kindy teacher, a skilled ECT that prepared kids so wonderfully for their transition into prep. I’m hopeful the staff turnover slows down and we keep what’s left of our fantastic educators as my child is in her final year and has such wonderful friends. I used to love this centre however our stay was cut short just over 4 months of being there. For a first time parent who was nervous about putting there child in daycare, I had done my research and listened to recommendations. At the time this centre was highly recommended for the area. When the centre underwent management change, that’s when I noticed the centre took a turn for the worst with multiple staff leaving.
