Hello, I have been with Forrest Family Practice for many years now. The doctors, nurses and staff have always been very supportive. Dr. Atif Khan is now my GP. I think our community is very fortunate to have him working and living here. His kindness, attention to detail and support has certainly helped me. The reception staff are all very welcoming and professional. All Drs at the practice have a empathy and caring attitude towards clients on there visits. Pathology staff also very well skilled and having this service available at the practice is a huge bonus. Nursing staff are all very professional, caring, and attend to your individual needs required.
We are visiting from South Africa and my wife had to see a GP in order to simply get a script for an antibiotic that she is already using, after extensive consultations with an ENT in SA. She was in the consultation room for less than 10 minutes and a script for the antibiotic was given. The full fee of $95 was charged despite asking the doctor if she could get a rebate/concession as a non-Medicare patient, because she is visiting. I’ve been visiting Forrest Family Practice for the past year, and my experience has been consistently positive. The clinic staff are friendly, organized, and make every effort to ensure patients feel comfortable. Appointments are generally easy to schedule, and wait times have been reasonable. Waited 45 minutes after my booked appointment time before being seen. Doctor was ill prepared and had to constantly go back and forward between his office and his colleagues office. Doctor failed to listen to me as he was not my regular doctor at this practice and didn’t listen to any of my past visit explanation for a recurring issue.
