Not uncommon to wait for 1/2 to an hour or longer for a booked appointment. It would be great if reception could just manage information like letting you know how late the doctor is running and how many people are in front? Better yet can we please just introduce a patient number to individual doctor display screen wait list, so I don’t have to ask what is going on? I wish could just pay once upfront and not have to return to the desk. Process is cumbersome.
The clinic refused to help me by not administering Tetanus Booster injection on Sunday 21st July 2024. I was told by the doctor at the consultation that unless I had been bitten by a dog it was free. I was unable to pay for the vaccination because I’m struggling financially. Great facilities but a bit confusing as you walk in and you are faced with 2 different reception areas - 1 for a general medical clinic and 1 for urgent treatment. I made an appointment over the phone and when I got there, I went to the general reception. After half an hour I went back to check the wait time only to learn that the doctor I was waiting for had gone missing. So, they quickly found another doctor and all was resolved. Very friendly staff.
The reason I give 4 stars is because the receptionist there is not that friendly. The doctor I saw was nice. On their website, it's said that first-time patients, should pay $25.00 out of pocket, however, we actually should pay $66.40 upfront, and then we would have the medicare rebate of $41.40. I suggest the centre should mention that on their website.
The clinic was well run and efficient. The doctor I saw was very polite and listened to my questions. He came up with a good treatment option for me.very happy with the service.
