They refused to see me, even though I had the appointment booked. A receptionist rang and said my last physical visit just fell outside the last 12 months and that was a Medicare thing. I told her I was clinically housebound she didn’t care. I advised I would pay in full, and she agreed, she said I had to pay 73$ upfront…I was too sick to leave my bed at the time having trouble breathing to go searching for my wallet. I accompanied my wife to see Dr Army Zhao at Forest Hill Medical Centre and the experience was extremely disappointing. The doctor appeared very impatient and dismissive throughout the consultation. The entire visit lasted less than five minutes, and it felt like we were being rushed out of the room before we even had a chance to properly explain the issue or ask questions. I had a really positive experience at Forest Hill Medical & Dental Centre. Dr Razaghi gave me excellent care and attention. She took the time to listen, discuss my concerns and explain everything clearly. I left feeling reassured that my condition was only minor, which was a huge relief. The clinic itself is easy to get to and parking is straightforward, which makes the whole visit stress free. It’s also great having all the facilities on site, so everything you need is in one place. Unfortunately, the GP we saw, was the absolute worst I've seen in many, years. Dare I say, THE worst. Her blurb on the website, regarding her manner, "empathetic" etc. was in stark contrast, to reality. Dr NB was very rude, very angry and very unprofessional. Not to mention, she did not conduct a thorough examination (completely missing, the problem area) and was reluctant to provide the necessary referrals. The clinic itself is clean, bright, and well-presented. However, my experience trying to see one particular doctor was extremely frustrating. On four separate occasions, my appointments were cancelled because the doctor was either sick or not at work. While I completely understand that illness happens, the repeated last-minute cancellations were unacceptable.
