Really enjoyed the Salmon Salad from Fishbowl! Fresh ingredients, tasty salmon, and a great mix of flavours and textures. Light, healthy, and filling at the same time. Definitely one of my favourite lunch options.
I often eat here. Ordering through the app is fast and convenient. However, I had a bad experience today, so I am posting this for your reference. The avocado tasted sour and a bit tingly on my tongue, which didn’t seem fresh. The staff said it was okay, but I hope they can check it more carefully.
Went to get some dinner takeout as a coeliac. Staff are knowledgable about food contents, I visited both the World Square and Newtown stores and was told almost everything was GF - everything except the tofu, which was a May Contain. The food is literally so delicious. Good feed after a long day out. I tried both the coconut chicken and the OG chicken bowl and they were both delicious with a decent variety of textures and flavours. The rice was perfect, the food is good cold or warm. It's unmatched IMO.
Definitely one of my comfort foods. Sure, the calories might be on the higher side, but you get so many different ingredients in one bowl — especially all the veggies — so it feels healthy after you finish! Every bite tastes a little different because of all the variety, and the OG salmon is my all-time fave. Whenever I have no idea what to eat, Fishbowl is always my first choice.
I ordered the heat chicken bowl and it was absolutely delicious — fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully prepared. I definitely underestimated how spicy it would be though and had a bit of a coughing moment. What truly impressed me was the service. The team noticed straight away, kindly offered to change my bowl, and even gave me a sweet drink to help soothe my irritated throat. Such a thoughtful and caring gesture.
