Definitely one of my comfort foods. Sure, the calories might be on the higher side, but you get so many different ingredients in one bowl — especially all the veggies — so it feels healthy after you finish! Every bite tastes a little different because of all the variety, and the OG salmon is my all-time fave. Whenever I have no idea what to eat, Fishbowl is always my first choice.
I ordered Miso Salmon with brown rice on Oct 23 at 4.52pm. The rice was overcooked and turned out like porridge, not proper brown rice. The salmon portion was also smaller than usual. I don’t mind the 50-cent price increase, but please take care of the food quality. I’m a regular customer, but this time the quality was really disappointing. Hope the staff can be more consistent next time.
I ordered the heat chicken bowl and it was absolutely delicious — fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully prepared. I definitely underestimated how spicy it would be though and had a bit of a coughing moment. What truly impressed me was the service. The team noticed straight away, kindly offered to change my bowl, and even gave me a sweet drink to help soothe my irritated throat. Such a thoughtful and caring gesture. I've always loved the Fish Bowl Salad, especially the poached chicken. I've noticed it's now mixed into the salad rather than served as a dedicated scoop on top. While the taste remains excellent, the new presentation makes it difficult to see if the portion size has changed. Personally, I much preferred the previous presentation—the beautiful scoop of chicken on top felt more generous and appetising.
the bowls are yummy but kinda insane that they charge $4 for 5 pieces of chicken?! i recommend asking for everything to be mixed because most of the flavor is at the bottom of the bowl.
