This place is in the food court. So after some walking around, I was able to find it. Traveling for business sometimes it’s really hard to find a good salad so it’s very happy when I found the fishbowl. I got the OG with chicken large. After a little waiting, I got my food and it was extremely delicious and refreshing. All the ingredients were super fresh and tasty. I will definitely be coming here again for the week that I’m here. The building is super interesting and unique. The service was fine: counter-based fast food. The portions were decent. Seemed healthy and fresh, tasted good. The bowl itself was filling (I have a small stomach) but only downside is the protein portions (salmon for my bowl) was pretty small. I’d still go back.
I have a small appetite and focus on nutrition within a reasonable budget, and Fishbowl at Darling Square is perfect for that. Their bowls are fresh, tasty, and comfortably light — and you can still keep it under $18, which is rare in this area. I paired my meal with a cold Jasmine Pure Tea ($8) from Nini next door, and it complemented the bowl beautifully while keeping the whole dinner refreshing and easy to digest. A great spot for a quick, healthy, and satisfying light meal in the Food Hall.
One of the favourite cafes in Sydney. Generous size meals ,with plenty of greens, chicken, fish or meat for you to choose..
I like that we can build our own bowl but the price point seems quite high for this option, quite a few toppings require extra $1 charge (eg sweet potato / broccoli) and salmon at extra $7. Miso glazed salmon is not bad but the sauce is quite salty. Seaweed salad is yummy. Overall, a fuss-free meal !
