The building is super interesting and unique. The service was fine: counter-based fast food. The portions were decent. Seemed healthy and fresh, tasted good. The bowl itself was filling (I have a small stomach) but only downside is the protein portions (salmon for my bowl) was pretty small. I’d still go back.
WHY HAVE I NEVER CONSUMED THIS TIL NOW?! fishbowl is an absolute dream. Its so easy to order and personalise, and makes you feel healthy while nourishing your body. I couldn’t even finish my whole bowl! I've ordered from them twice in the last two days and they got my order wrong both times. One order was a group order. There was no indication of which meal was which and it was very confusing. Other fishbowl locations are much more efficient and professional. Don't go here.
I like that we can build our own bowl but the price point seems quite high for this option, quite a few toppings require extra $1 charge (eg sweet potato / broccoli) and salmon at extra $7. Miso glazed salmon is not bad but the sauce is quite salty. Seaweed salad is yummy. Overall, a fuss-free meal !
My friend and both forgot how long we were talking that he ended up having to walk/run/jaywalk and eat the fishbowl he ordered so we could make it to the Palace Cinemas at Central in time for the movie. Like it was meant to be, we arrived and the turn-phones-on-silent advertisement had just come on, and the fishbowl he was holding had been finished. My bowl was scrumptiously good, too (albeit, enjoyed under less hurried conditions).
