I ordered the salmon miso bowl. The salmon itself was lovely, however the bowl had SO much dressing that it was inedible. I also tried George Street recently and experienced the same issue. After being a Fish Bowl fan for so many years and also trying This Bowl in NYC, I fear this may be the last of my orders with the franchise.
95% sure this place gave me horrendous food poisoning (OG chicken). Would avoid it. Shame as I've eaten at other chains with zero issues. Edit: yes I posted for George St accidentally, removed it - was Quay Qrtr store. Never had issues at George St one.
I became violently ill after eating here - avoid this place! I ordered a chilli chicken bowl for lunch. I haven’t had food poisoning in years, so when I started throwing up in the office I was shocked. Others have had similar issues - I suggest choosing a different restaurant in the city!
Had a Salmon OG. The salmon sashimi pieces tasted a bit strange and the smashed avo tasted old (fermented and fizzy). I shouldn't have but I ate it anyway as I was hungry. I was sick within 20 minutes. Definitely won't be returning. However, I have enjoyed my meals from other Fishbowl franchises so this was disappointing.
Always such great food!
