Great value lunch at Fishbowl Parramatta. Fresh, healthy ingredients, large portions. Best to order online ahead and pickup as this place can get crazy busy at lunchtime. I ordered my own bowl creation but modelled it on the former 'Mr X' bowl which they no longer make. With poached chicken it cost me $14.90 for regular size. Tasty and high quality as always. I ordered a salmon miso bowl for takeaway today with salmon sashimi as add on. When I got home, the bowl did not come with the miso salmon. Just the salad with the salmon sashimi. This is my go to order 😭
My favourite place in Parramatta. The staff is very friendly and efficient, they offer support and alternation for dishes even after you ordered. Salmon OG is my favourtie, so fresh and healthy but you can try the fillet too. Mushroom is also a nice alternative protein, very umami
I’ve always been very supportive of Fishbowls and usually have good experiences here. However, today was very disappointing. I ordered sushi rice as usual, but the rice tasted completely different from past visits — it seemed like plain white rice without vinegar. I even asked the receptionist to double-check, but he became defensive and said they only have sushi rice and brown rice. Online booking can be taken directly, very convenient. And it's delicious and healthy. I’ve been going to Fishbowl a lot in the last month. But today I was very disappointed when a large moth appeared in the bowl of spicy salmon I ordered. I didn't find it in the bowl until I was halfway through eating it, which was really disgusting.
