Had to visit Fishbowl in Sydney after trying it in Melbourne — and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, and Manager Sam was incredibly outgoing and friendly throughout the experience. He prepared such a delicious and aesthetic poke bowl that looked just as good as it tasted. The mango drink was also super refreshing and the perfect pairing for the meal. Definitely a spot I’d come back to again when in Sydney!
Had the spicy salmon and it was delicious. All the ingredients were really fresh and the sauce was perfect
Vermicelli rice noodles raw. Avoid new fish bowl on Oxford st, staff don’t know what they are doing. Asked questions about ingredients and staff just replied this is my second shift, fair enough but ask another staff member, come on.
I’ve been a regular Fishbowl customer for a long time, both at the current Oxford Street store and at your previous location. Over the past ~6 months, I’ve noticed the portion sizes have noticeably decreased. What used to feel like a proper meal now looks more like a small serving served in a large bowl. Absolutely love it, huge portion, friendly staff that recommend me the best bowl I’ve ever had. Minimalistic local after renovation but with nice vibe. You’re gonna see me more often guys!
