Am I allowed to like this place? Like heaps? Food is fast, super healthy, tasty as. The vibe is great with current staff always greeting me with a laugh and they seem to be having a great time behind the counter too (shout out to Mduzi who seems like a legend). And hey- the music doesn't suck either with no obnoxious pop at crazy volumes. Plus its like all of newtowns beautiful people are here. Is there a legitimate fishbowl scene? Maybe. Fishbowl could have sold out after their quick success and dish up crap at this point. ... read more
Went in on Wednesday the the 10th of June around 2pm. Genuinely best customer service I’ve had!! Lovely guy greeted my friend and I at the door. Both of us had never been so he sets us up with a couple of bowls and gives us some direction and some advice about what fillings we should get. Going so above and beyond to ensure our experience was amazing. Laughing and cracking jokes with a huge smile and so much enthusiasm. Delicious bowl at Fishbowl Newtown! The team member who helped me, HE was a start 🌟 super friendly, great energy, and made the whole experience even better. The food was fresh and the place was spotless. I’ll definitely be back.
Whoever made my OG salmon bowl with sushi rice, that was probably the best i’ve had out of all the locations I have ordered it. The balance between rice, salad, dressing and salmon was pretty much perfect. I had a rough morning shift and this restored some humanity in me 😭
Wow! Duzi had the best energy. Huge smile, great suggestions, welcoming! Friendly staff, quality food, can’t go wrong at this place. If you haven’t been here, give it a try.
