There seems to be quite a few bad reviews lately of this fishbowl (especially beef and chicken bowls). My (few) experiences here have always been positive. I normally get the Salmon OG with brown rice which they do pretty well. They put the Sparkling water behind the counter now which is a little annoying.
NEVER EVER order a take away from this place! I placed a take away order online from your Newtown store Once I arrived home I "almost vomited" from what I saw inside my food I ordered a beef brisket with spicy mayo dressing Only to discover disgusting (almost expired poached chicken mixed with the leafy greens) who eats chicken with beef !!!! My fiancée and I stopped by for a fishbowl after a fun night of dancing, and it did not disappoint! It’s been a while since we’ve had one, and honestly, it was fantastic. The service was top-notch—even though they seemed pretty busy, the staff remained upbeat, friendly, and welcoming. As for the food, everything was spot on. DON’T order delivery from fishbowl, I came to leave this review and I saw another customer experienced the same thing with me, meaning no improvements. Their takeaway packaging is so bad lack of considerations. Like just seal the lid or tape it would be a simple fix!! I don’t think it’s the delivery driver’s issue. Especially if you are ordering more than 1 salads, and what will happen is they fall down and spill around the takeaway bag, cuz this bag has inappropriate size, lids come off easily.
the chicken bowl was honestly hard to eat. Service and prep time is completely fine but the actual product just wasnt enjoyable at all. All the elements were there. Nothing was necessarily “wrong” with the food, but it was really subpar. Like you don’t need to compromise thaaaat much to make a decent health place😭 Give it a miss trust me.
