I ordered a spicy salmon meal and specifically requested no onion or shallots. However, when I got to the office and opened my meal, it was full of both onion and shallots. This was really disappointing, as I made the request to accommodate my preferences. Attention to detail in orders is important, and I hope this can be improved in the future.
Since posting my original review I have been in contact with Fishbowl customer service and they gave me credit towards a new bowl which I enjoyed yesterday. This time the protein contents were as expected. I have updated my review to reflect the customer service and better food experience. Had an absolutely delicious feast at the Fishbowl Newmarket establishment. Definitely recommend the mush love. The mushroom is delish but tbh Fishbowl U need to take some notes from GYG cuz their mushroom is heavenly and transcendent and would beat yours to a pulp in seconds if the two were ever thrown in the ring together.
Tried out FishBowl today for the first time after seeing their chains pop up everywhere. I ordered the Tom Yum Chicken Box and wow, it was so good!!! Perfect portion size, nice texture, comes with salad, rice and protein. It was super flavourful and had a good balance of sweet, salty and umami flavours with a bit of spice. Good price too, only $11.90! I don’t think you can even get one burger for that price at Grill’d across the road. Would recommend and will be coming back!
I was looking for a quick lunch option without having to give in to junk food. This salad bar has it all: fresh produce, unlimited combinations and fast service. And what a pleasure to eat colorful, healthy food! I'll definitely be back!
