I discovered Fishbowl by accident and never thought of the concept as dodgy or for a quick Buck! What a fabulous and healthy idea for restaurant foods. I have tried variety of dishes in the menu at different outlets and wasn't disappointed. Well done the founder and franchised owners. Thank you for caring for your customers. This particular outlet at Macquarie shopping center is awesome! Totally recommend for healthy and delicious food.
First time trying Fishbowl, and won't be returning. The miso eggplant bowl was really disappointing. There was barely any of the protein, and the overall taste was very bland. The ingredients felt unbalanced with an odd mix of flavours that didn’t work together. The freshness was not what I’d expect from a place that promotes itself as healthy and premium.

INCORRECT ORDER - I ordered 2x OG Salmon bowls: one with brown rice and the other with mixed cabbage. I had even paid extra to double the protein. Instead, both bowls were made with brown rice and the salmon portions looked like the standard portion, not double. If this is their version of double then.... wow. What makes it worse is that the lovely counter staff did take the time to label the bowls correctly, showing care and attention, but the kitchen completely ignored the order details. I’ve decided to give this place a try today because I was enticed by the smell of their food as I walked past their shop. And I’m glad I did. I’m not usually a fan of salad in general, but this place really delivers. You are able to customise your order to your liking/dietary requirements which is always a plus. The staff were really friendly and very helpful and it didn’t take long at all for your food to be served. I’ll definitely be back to try their other menu items.
