I visited on Saturday evening and there was about 8 staff working and I was the only customer. The chicken bowl was good, but I ordered with extra chicken and it didn’t seem like they added any extra. But it was still tasty and I liked it. I also asked if I could use the wifi and they said they didn’t have any even though I could clearly see the network available on my phone. Overall, I wouldn’t dine in here again. I think fishbowl is probably just a takeaway place. Probably wouldn’t pay for the extra chicken either.
Great location on the corner of Albany and Willoughby Roads in Crows Nest. You can people watch as you munch your way through one of their healthy OG bowls with salmon and brown rice or chicken miso bowls. Generous serving size and always freshly made - delicious.
Was exploring Crows Nest now the new metro station has opened and saw this place. When I got there I was the only one in the place but they had 6 staff behind the counter so they must do a lot delivery orders. I would normally order the OG but felt like something heartier so got the braised beef. Not bad. Was tasty enough but the beef was a touch on the dry side. The store also offers free bottomless sparkling and still water from a tap so that saves me buying a bottle.
The food is good and fresh, service was quick took 5 minutes to be ready
Used to be good when they first opened but has gone downhill massively. So many orders wrong in the last year, paying extra for avocado, forgets avocado. Stingy on the salmon, even though it’s literally the only protein in the OG Salmon! Oh and the biggest issue - Fishbowl got rid of soba noodles!!! We have complained about this constantly, they are just cutting costs and don’t really care about the feedback from customers.
