I visited on Saturday evening and there was about 8 staff working and I was the only customer. The chicken bowl was good, but I ordered with extra chicken and it didn’t seem like they added any extra. But it was still tasty and I liked it. I also asked if I could use the wifi and they said they didn’t have any even though I could clearly see the network available on my phone. Overall, I wouldn’t dine in here again. I think fishbowl is probably just a takeaway place. Probably wouldn’t pay for the extra chicken either.
Great location on the corner of Albany and Willoughby Roads in Crows Nest. You can people watch as you munch your way through one of their healthy OG bowls with salmon and brown rice or chicken miso bowls. Generous serving size and always freshly made - delicious.
We had lunch there today and both dishes Spicy Salmon and Miso Salmon were delicious, so fresh and lots of interesting ingredients. Nice service and liked the self-serve water-fountain. Can now see why so many Uber Eats come from Fishbowl in my area.
Was exploring Crows Nest now the new metro station has opened and saw this place. When I got there I was the only one in the place but they had 6 staff behind the counter so they must do a lot delivery orders. I would normally order the OG but felt like something heartier so got the braised beef. Not bad. Was tasty enough but the beef was a touch on the dry side. The store also offers free bottomless sparkling and still water from a tap so that saves me buying a bottle.
I go here 2-3x per week and ALWAYS order extra chicken every now and again they DONT put it in. On the online order you are meant to call if something isn’t right but the Phone is NEVER answered. Completely frustrating and when you pay extra for protein and you are trying your hardest to track your intake this is unacceptable. No accountability or not even able to speak to anyone to fix a simple problem. Would love some communication options!!
