Flavours are great but skimped on portion size with my order tonight for myself and my mum. Mine was a large miso salmon bowl w pickled ginger- $22.90. Picture attached to this review. My bowl wasn’t filled. My mums bowl was filled, however she had a lot of extras. Hers was a large OG chicken bowl with $10.50 worth of extras (avocado $2, red onion $0.50, coriander $0.50, edamame $0.50, radish $0.50, spicy broccoli $1.50, roasted tofu $5)- yet all of those extras were fit into the large bowl. We've visited Fishbowl Chermside a few times now, and unfortunately the experience has been consistently disappointing. Each time we arrive, the store is relatively quiet—maybe one or two tables occupied—but every table is dirty and hasn’t been cleared or wiped down. For a brand that promotes fresh, clean eating, you would expect that same level of care to be reflected in the presentation of the dining space. It really takes away from the overall experience. It was my first time coming to Fishbowl Chermside and I was blown away. The young boy who served me was very helpful and kind, patiently guiding me through the menu offering suggestions about the food. I decided on the Braised Beef and was blown away with the taste, the looks, and the freshness of the Fishbowl. The fresh brisket paired with the light fluffy vegetables was delicious. Absolutely amazing bunch of people. We forgot to remove soy sauce from one of the bowls. Went to buy a new one, and the guy was beyond nice, swapped it for free. Food is great. Fresh ingredients , great balance of taste. But this fishbowl is special because people who work there are amazing.
Original chicken bowl with rice was so good. Everything was fresh and delicious. Very healthy too. Came with kale which I typically don’t like, but I actually really enjoyed it in this bowl. Will definitely come back next time. Great service too.
