I am so sorry because the service is so friendly here and I love the concept of fishbowl that’s why I love coming here. Nothing really against the quality of the ingredients but finding a HAIR inside the salad. Wow . It was a man’s hair because it was quite short so I couldn’t have my salad today. Please just make sure these things won’t happen again because it changes the image of the place completely.
I’m not sure how difficult it is to get an order correct, but if there’s an award for the most incorrect orders.. Fishbowl at Bondi Beach takes first place! Either the staff need re-training (or educating to read) or the management need to print them receipt dockets that say add ons in bold writing. Poke-style bowl offering healthier options. Ordered the bento box, pulled beef and salmon. While it looked flavourful, surprisingly it was rather one dimensional and a bit dry. The proteins were flavourful but the slaw was alright. Would love a bit more sauce on the rice. Ingredients were fresh and service was quick which was good. You can also build your own bowl here.
Consistency was not there, had to ask after I picked up the bowl where is the brown rice, he said do you want more, I said you gave me less than any other store, also chicken was non existent. Bondi is usually the best store been coming since it opened. Please retrain this guy you would swear it was his money coming out of the chicken out of his pay - May 20th 2026
I ordered two bowls one with extra chicken. The brown guy who was at serving was very rude, when picking up my order there was no labels that mentioned which one was with extra protein. When I went to ask he goes “you can always just check”. Apparently you should just know what bowl has been modified. Honestly I don’t think he should be in a customer service role. The food was good though.
