Dad was placed into respite for 2 weeks, then another week and is now going permanent as this facility is just wonderful. Dad is so much happier and has met some lovely friends. The staff are all very caring and attentive and always offer a friendly smile and hello when visiting. Im over the moon knowing dad is being well cared for and it shows, as he has come alive whilst being there. Highly recommend this facility as I couldn't ask for better care.
Dad and mum both moved into Estia for respite. Now permanent residents, we can see a genuine sense of relief in them and they have expressed their enjoyment of such things as meals and activities. The level of clinical care they have been provided and personal regard they have been shown by Sandeep and his team at Estia Wodonga has been reassuring. Mum was transferred from the Albury Base Hospital mid Dec 25 and was not in a good way at all. But with Sandeep and his Teams personalized help and assistance Mum has improved significantly as a result of their efforts. Everyone has been fantastic to deal with and there help feels genuine, which from our families perspective is the most important factor in were Mum is cared for. Mum never wanted to leave her home, but after a very positive stay in respite for a few weeks back in Jan 2023 she told us that if she ever needed to go into full time care she would like to go back there. In Sept 2024 mum returned, and was very happy with the friendly staff and the care she received. I also appreciated the staff and the compassion they showed towards our family and especially towards me as I stayed with mum in her final days.
Mum was transferred from Albury Base Hospital to Estia Health Wodonga in mid-December 2025, following an nine-week hospital stay during which she was largely bed-bound. Upon discharge, she had lost all mobility, her cognitive function had declined significantly, and we watched her deteriorate before our eyes. Since arriving at Estia, mum has made a remarkable recovery.
