I have been resident at Wattle Glen for a little over a year. I am still continually impressed by the professionalism and genuine caring of the staff. It has been a huge relief for me and my family to have this level of care available 24 hours a day. It is simply wonderful to see each resident receiving the specific individual attention they need. My father received excellent care: was treated with respect and dignity at all times, and his care was very personalised and individualised. The facility is a bit older, and not flashy looking compared to some; but the staff are so dedicated. There's really pretty garden courtyards, animal visits, and the lifestyle team go above and beyond to provide lots of special events and activities. I hope I'll never need it personally, but I wouldn't hesitate to go there myself.
Our beautiful Dad was reluctantly coming to the realisation he needed full time care. After visiting several aged care facilities, he chose Estia at Wattle Glen. That was November 2021. Sadly he passed away during January 2026 at the age of 101. The love and care he received from the beautiful people at Wattle Glen throughout these years was truly amazing. Thanks to Kalpana and the team at Estia Wattle Glen for making the transition of my Mum's stay easier. It's a stressful time and everyone there has been amazingly kind, supportive and helpful. I would recommend anyone looking for a home or support stay to take a tour.
Mum was in Wattle Glen for just over a year due to worsening dementia and not being able to be managed safely at home. Initially we were all so worried about having to place her in care but after a couple of weeks we knew we had made the right decision for her as she was safe, well cared for and seemed to like the “ hotel” she was now living in .
