My mum has been a resident here for almost a year and while the facility is lovely and new, we’re more impressed with the staff. There is a high level of care and attention from all levels of the team, from the kitchen, cleaners, carers and nurses as well as from the admin team. We’ve also been surprised at the retention of staff and mum has had great continuity of care since moving in, with them all knowing her by name and her personal care preferences. We’re so grateful to all the team at Estia St Ives.
5 stars are not enough!! My wife and I checked out more than 15 aged care facilities across the Lower North Shore for my elderly parents and Estia St Ives was the clear winner. The quality of the facility is absolutely first class with their beautiful rooms, break out spaces, verandahs, gardens and a lovely cafe. My Aunt had to move into Aged Care rather abruptly. This in itself was such a challenging & emotional situation and we found the team, at Estia St Ives were just outstanding. Lorisa was just the sort of person we needed - a very special person and sensitive to all we were going through. My Aunt moved into Estia St Ives in February 2025. She was reluctant at first having supported herself up to the age of 99. Everyone at Estia made her feel welcome and nothing was ever too much trouble. They were able to settle her in with very little fuss and it was a huge weight off our shoulders. My aunt had been fiercely independent but found her feet at Estia and began to enjoy herself, becoming involved in activities, and enjoying the additional benefits of the cafe and hairdresser on site. We’ve had a fantastic experience since Mum moved into Estia Health St Ives in July ‘25. Lorisa, Natalie and Sonya are a wonderful team who lead well, listen and really made the transition into aged care so much easier. They go above and beyond to care about the residents and ensure everything runs smoothly. Really wonderful as we had so many questions and concerns before we moved.
