Our parents are residents at Estia Health Plenty, and we are very grateful for the care and support they receive. As a family of Sri Lankan origin, it was important to us that they felt welcomed, respected, and cared for, and the staff have been wonderful throughout this journey. We visited a lot of facilities. We met Caroline here and she was amazing, providing a lot of information. The facility is absolutely beautiful. We visited at lunchtime and saw the lovely meals being served and very happy residents. The rooms were lovely, the spaces were very bright and welcoming. I loved the atrium, I could imagine sitting there with a coffee and a book. Well worth a look!
I have peviously commented on how smoothly my sister in law's transition into Estia went. A couple of months in, the other day when I walked into her room she volunteered 'I am very happy here'. In part this is due to enjoyable activities , good food, a room accomodating some of her own furnishings and prized possesions, daily care needs being well met. I had been looking at nursing homes for my aging father for awhile. I was looking for a place where he could really feel at home. Where they understood that this stage of life is about enjoyment and the need to keep living well will being supported. Estia Health Plenty is beautifully presented and the staff and residents are all happy. We were impressed by all and well supported during his transition phase. He’s now happier and healthier than he’s been in years and looking forward to enjoying his best life.
I put my dad into their care recently and my dad has settled in pretty quickly. The staff are all amazing (from admin to the nurses and PCAs) and the compassion they have for their residents is beyond words. They communicate pretty well and are always there to help.
