We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all the nurses and staff at Estia Nursing Home Mudgeeraba for the exceptional care provided to our father during his time in The Gardens. Although the Gardens can be confronting, the team made the experience as gentle and supportive as possible for our family. The care they showed my Nan over her last years was amazing! Far exceeded being “just a nursing home”. Nan was treated like family, upon her decline Missy one of the lovely carers ensured Nan was comfortable, infact all the carers allowed me to stay until the end, and were respectful and kind. Thank you for your amazing carers and compassion! Once your loved ones enter, they become Estia family
Donna from the lifestyle team is a bully. She goes into residents rooms to steal clothing for other residents, tries to physically force dementia residents into showering (even spraying one with the shower hose whilst still fully dressed, then left her in soaking wet clothes). Another resident had a fall, Donna just walked past her and told someone else to “deal with it”. I would NEVER allow my mother to stay here.
It is now almost a year since my dad moved into Estia and despite his care needs changing Estia has managed everything beautifully. Dad has continued to build friendships with both the other residents and the incredible staff he is surrounded by, he has a feeling of really belonging. My mother has been living at Estia Mudgeeraba for some time now, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she receives. The staff are absolutely fantastic— I couldn’t speak highly enough of them, always caring, kind, with great attention to detail. The facility is consistently spotless, and it’s clear that a lot of effort goes into maintaining a clean and comfortable environment.
