This is the worst place on earth do not put your love ones here. My uncle was here for three weeks and he almost went mad. I was visiting him twice a day and the care was shocking. He doesn’t eat chicken, every night he was brought chicken. The room was filthy when we first brought him in and it took days to have it clean. He told me the staff belittle him and laughed at him. He was out in napped even though he was totally able to still use the toilet himself. He became sick and was transferred to hospital where he died. Aft... read more

Our mother lived in the Estia Mount Clear RACF for the last two years of her (very long) life. We were hugely impressed by the compassionate and generous care she was given. She enjoyed mealtimes in the dining room and constantly praised the food. She enjoyed the exercise classes, book club and visits in her room from the care staff and others who dropped in. She especially enjoyed visits from people who brought in their dogs and other animals. The palliative care she received at the end of her life was excellent. We can't t... read more

A beautiful establishment but very under trained staff don’t be fooled. My mother was a resident here and all was reasonably well until she needed palliative care, staff had no idea and didn’t follow doctors instructions which meant she suffered unnecessarily, including being left in a soiled bed, she wasn’t checked on 2 hourly as I was informed was the procedure they followed. This is a well designed, brand new, large facility with a good range of facilities and very caring, friendly staff. We had really enjoyable Christmas lunch there with my father in law, who now lives there It started with an prawn cocktail entree, followed by a a fresh, hot main with tender beef, ham, turkey, crisp roast vegetables and greens. Beautifully run facility , very clean, great covid safety procedures before you enter . Rooms are quiet large all staff friendly , residents seem comfortable and happy ,and food is very presentable and appealing.
