Fantastic staff who are caring and do their best for their aged clients. Premises are clean and spacious. The Customer Service Officer is knowledgeable and very helpful and made the transition from home to Aged care as easy as possible. My real measure is to find that my mum's health has improved.
The care my elderly father received at Estia Merrylands was in the excellent range. Professional & personal care by management, nursing, social & wellbeing, kitchen & cleaning staff was 1st class. Communication to our family regarding Dad's health was always consistent. We had complete trust & confidence Dad was in the right place for his needs. Once Dad had settled, it was a happy place.
I found it very difficult to find a Nursing Home that would be a good home for my stroke victim husband. Most of the places I visited you would not put your dog in. Estia Merrylands was my saviour! As soon as you walk in you are warmly welcomed and the front desk secretary always greets you with a smile. The place is spotlessly clean and there are no repugnant smells in any of the rooms. Our mum has been with Estia for several months now, and what we found to be very evident was how much the staff care about their residents. We now feel that our mother is in good hands and that her meals and personal needs are being met. She has also mentioned to us how much she enjoys the activities and outings she has been attending. My Mum had a short stay at Estia Greystanes for respite, recovering from a broken pelvis. I wish to thank the Management, RN's and staff for the great experience, due diligence, duty of care and excellent service that was provided for my mother. We were made welcomed in a warm, friendly environment which was always clean and tidy. My mother was cared for with respect & dignity by the staff and management.
