My Loved One was admitted to Estia Lockleys in September 2025 coming from overflow QEH beds. Arriving here was like being welcomed into a 5 star hotel, very new and lots of facilities. Cafe, hairdressers, gym etc. the room was spacious. This is the reason for the 2 stars. Unfortunately the poor communication, lack of care in fact blatant neglect, and complete disregard for the impact this was having on my Loved Ones carer and family by the placement staff was abhorrent. Our father has been a resident at Estia's, Lockleys for 3 years now. We are very impressed with the excellent nursing and other care he receives. It's lovely to see all staff acknowledge him and other residents by first name and always with a smile. Staff go out of their way to do that little bit extra to make the residents feel at home. I cannot speak highly enough of Estia Health Lockleys. From the moment I was greeted by the staff to spending the day there with my mum, I was struck by how genuinely kind and caring everyone was. Very grateful for the care and compassion of the Estia Lockleys extended team over the 4 years mum has made Lockleys "home". We appreciate the consistent, long term staff. The bright smiles and welcome we receive always when visiting. The regular updates we get by phone to keep us informed of key care items. Their willingness to adapt to address quirky problems that arise (a natural part of aging). Mum has been a resident of Estia Health Lockleys, SA, since March 2020 and has received excellent care across the years. Something that has impressed my brother and I is the number of staff across all disciplines – nursing, carers, lifestyle, catering and administrative – who have worked there for many years and clearly care deeply for their clients.
