I am absolutely blown away by the care my Mum has received at Estia Health Hope Valley! The staff are so friendly, professional and extremely efficient. We went through an extremely stressful time trying to find her an urgent permanent placement. The staff bent over backwards trying to help us out of a sticky situation. My Loved One was admitted to Estia at Hope Valley in October 2025. She had spent 6 weeks prior to that in QEH, then Estia at Lockleys on respite. When she arrived at Estia Hope Valley we were greeted like family, and such a fuss was made of my Loved One. She was showered in the first week, the first shower she had been given since she was admitted to care. It was found her hair was matted from lack of care in previous nursing home. My dad has been in respite for several weeks absolutely loves Estia hope valley, the staff and care is top notch, the food is delicious and he is eating very well, mum is coming in as well next week and they will be permanent residents. Bev and front office staff have a lovely way about them to all who come in.
My father passed away last week while he was a resident of Estia Health Hope Valley and I would like to express my gratitude for the assistance and care he received while there. I was kept informed at all times about his needs and the programmes that were put in place to provide a comfortable and pleasant stay at Hope Valley. My mother in law was in this home for respite after breaking her other hip. The person in the other bed said she didn’t believe she was showered daily. She was taken home and we found she was red raw . Often she was soaking wet. Too busy to take her to toilet. They bend over backwards in front of you but not sure what happens when you leave .
