June and Anthony Anderson Unfortunately, at the age of 90years old, I was no longer able to look after myself and I have to go into Aged Care Home. Luckily for me I chose Estia health and I have never been happier. Management always have time to listen to me, and the Personal Care Assistants are so kind and caring. I am very well looked after, and I would not change a thing. Thanks to the lovely, caring, wonderfully warm, really special staff at Healesville Aurrum for the kindness and care they show the residents. My brother, despite being blind, enjoys the exercise activities, also the music, singing and games activities and just being in the lounge with other residents and feeling part of the group, where the staff create a feeling of togetherness. Mum wen't into Aurrum Healesville six weeks ago, and she is as happy as I have seen her in years. The staff are excellent, nothing is to much trouble for them and they appear to genuinely car for the residents. They go on outings and send photo's of Mum to me, Mum is enjoying the inhouse activities and the company and conversation. The management is proffesional and helpful and it flows through to the staff. All in all it is better than I could have hoped for.
My mother lived there for 4 years. She was loved and cared for in that time, sadly We were unaware of the extent of that love until she passed away. The staff looked after us with love and respect. Visiting mum often with tears in their eyes. They provided a haven where we could grieve our way and nothing was too much trouble, no matter what time of the day or night it was.
