No person wants to put their beautiful mum in a nursing home but when you cannot give the care they need you have very little choice. We were lucky enough to receive a call from Estia Health Erina and from my initial meeting with Michelle of client services and from our 1st discussion to final agreement of residence has been easy. As for care, the staff are outstanding led by unit manager Fernanda who is wonderful, caring and responsive. The place is clean, the food pretty good and is the best place for mum.
I cannot express the gratitude my family and I feel for the team at Estia Erina. We made the hard decision to move my mother with dementia into care last month. The staff have helped her settle her into a routine and the level of care has been exceptional. Their focus on individual care tailored to each resident has not gone unnoticed, and we are so thankful.
Estia Erina was on my shortlist for my mum. I already had some familiarity with the home through my daughter’s school excursion and knew a few of the staff. Michelle and the team were genuinely friendly and welcoming, the facility was clean, and residents appeared well cared for. Our Family has had a fantastic experience with Estia Health at Erina. The Team there made everything simple and the care for our Mum started from the second we entered the building! They seemed to know exactly how we were feeling and were able to generate genuine comfort for all. Our inspection of the facility showed everything to be as you would expect (and want ) for our Mum, but we found the staff to be the real attraction. Wonderful, warm and pleasant they made Mum feel that she was coming home. Really happy.
I have had my 84 year old mum stay in both Estia complexes at Erina. I have never seen a better nursing home than this establishment made even better by the caring & very competent staff. The accomodation is absolutely excellent & in the more modern building to the front it actually seems more like hotel accomodation at first glance.
