My mother and father entered care at Estia Health Epping after both had had bad falls. Mum died fifteen months later, while Dad has been a resident for six and a half years. He died last week at the age of 101 years. The staff have looked after and cared for them with great patience and compassion. My father-in-law Bob was in Estia for just under 6 years, and he loved it. He went in during Covid and it was a wonderful place for him. He could walk around and exercise, met new friends to talk to and debate with, and the library is huge. I reckon he probably read most of the books. The management and staff have been wonderful over those years, caring for him in a very respectful way. My mother and father have been residents of this facility. The facility has been fantastic in accommodating the family unit. The staff are all friendly, caring, approachable and patient and make an effort to understand the individual needs of the residents. Mum has been cared for here for 7 years . The staff , lifestyle Karen , Hannah & team are all wonderful . I go away a lot & I feel very comfortable with mum there & they face time us . Mum has resided at Estia Health Epping for nearly six years now & she has always been looked after by wonderful, caring people. She turned 100 in January & Estia Health Epping kindly gave the family permission to have a mini zoo on their lawn as mum has always been an animal lover. The mini zoo had rabbits, guinea pigs, lambs, goats, chickens & even an alpaca. Mum ended up the whole time with a rabbit & a guinea pig on her lap, much to her delight.
