Mum has resided at Estia Health Epping for nearly six years now & she has always been looked after by wonderful, caring people. She turned 100 in January & Estia Health Epping kindly gave the family permission to have a mini zoo on their lawn as mum has always been an animal lover. The mini zoo had rabbits, guinea pigs, lambs, goats, chickens & even an alpaca. Mum ended up the whole time with a rabbit & a guinea pig on her lap, much to her delight. My father-in-law Bob was in Estia for just under 6 years, and he loved it. He went in during Covid and it was a wonderful place for him. He could walk around and exercise, met new friends to talk to and debate with, and the library is huge. I reckon he probably read most of the books. The management and staff have been wonderful over those years, caring for him in a very respectful way. My 92 year old father has been at Estia Epping for just over a year. He has found new friends to spend time with over coffee, meals and activities. The staff are very attentive and he enjoys a range of regular activities. His favourite day is the Art class where he's rediscovered his artistic talents. My mother and father have been residents of this facility. The facility has been fantastic in accommodating the family unit. The staff are all friendly, caring, approachable and patient and make an effort to understand the individual needs of the residents. My mother was a resident of Poplars for almost 8 years. She received great care. I found the staff to be very caring and mum was always treated with great respect.
